A cozy endless descent for Apple Watch.
Alpine Drift is a snowboarding game that runs entirely on your Apple Watch. You ride a golden-hour slope that never ends, carving between firs, cottages and snowmen while the sun sits low over the ranges.
Turn the Digital Crown, or swipe left and right on the screen. Both set the same edge angle — the crown holds where you leave it, a swipe springs back when you lift your finger.
Tap the screen. A hop clears snowmen, stumps and rocks, but not trees or cottages — those you have to go around.
No. Crashes are forgiving: you lose speed and get a puff of snow, then keep going. The run continues until you choose to stop.
Thread the gaps. Passing close to an obstacle without hitting it gives a small speed boost and builds a combo, so weaving pays better than ploughing straight down. Turning hard across the fall line scrubs speed the way a real edge does, and straying off the groomed corridor bogs you down in powder.
Yes, on your watch, between runs.
