I Lost My Voice is a text-to-speech utility that runs entirely on your device.

• No data collection. The app does not collect, store, or transmit any personal information, usage data, or analytics.
• On-device speech. All speech synthesis happens on your device using Apple's built-in text-to-speech engine. The text you type is never sent to any server.
• No accounts. There is nothing to sign up for and nothing to log in to.
• No third parties. There are no ads, no trackers, and no third-party SDKs.
• Local storage only. Your language/voice preferences, recent phrases, and daily message count are stored only on your device (and in your device backups, which you control). Deleting the app deletes them.

Text you type

Text you type is converted to speech on your device and is not sent anywhere. Recent phrases are kept on your device solely so you can re-speak them, and you can delete them at any time by swiping them away.

In-app purchase

The app offers an optional one-time purchase ("Full Version") that removes the daily limit on spoken messages. The purchase is processed entirely by Apple through the App Store; the app never sees your payment details or Apple Account. The unlock status is kept by the App Store (so you can restore it on a new device) and cached on your device. Apple's handling of purchase data is described in Apple's own privacy policy.

Children

The app is suitable for all ages and, consistent with the above, collects no data from anyone, including children.

Changes

If this policy ever changes, the updated version will be posted at this URL and the "Last updated" date will change.
