What is it? GyroDrill: Aim Trainer is a gyroscope aim trainer for mobile shooters on Android (7.1 or later, phones and tablets with a gyroscope). It has five 60-second drills — Gridshot, Tracking, Precision, Recoil control and Scoped — gyro sensitivity for every scope from no scope to 8x, and results with your personal best after every run. GyroDrill Premium, a subscription with a one-week free trial on the yearly plan, adds Recoil control and Scoped, a gyro analysis with one tip after every run, a daily program and progress trends. There is no account and there are no ads.

See what to fix
A training ground shows you hit or miss. GyroDrill Premium measures how you got there: where your first stop lands against the target, how many flicks overshoot or stop short, how long the correction takes, how fast you react, and whether one direction is slower than the other. Then it gives you one concrete tip, such as:
You overshoot 45% of flicks. Try lowering gyro sensitivity to about 90%.
Your spray drifts 1.2° high. Tilt down harder as the magazine empties.
You trail 0.8° behind the target. Lead it slightly, especially when it changes direction.

What is gyro aim, and how does GyroDrill train it?
With gyro aim you move the crosshair by turning your phone, which the gyroscope measures, while your thumbs stay on fire and scope. GyroDrill trains exactly that turning: you hold the device in landscape, turn it to aim and drag on the screen only for big turns. Five 60-second drills train flicks, tracking, precision, recoil control and scoped aim.
Which devices does GyroDrill run on?
Android phones and tablets with a gyroscope, on Android 7.1 or later. Google Play offers GyroDrill only to devices that have a gyroscope. Hold the device in landscape.
Is there an iPhone or iPad version?
Not yet. Today GyroDrill is available on Google Play for Android phones and tablets.
How do I set my gyro sensitivity?
Settings › Scope sensitivity sets the gyro sensitivity for every scope, from no scope to 8x. At 100% the view turns exactly as much as your device. Settings › Gyro has the vertical multiplier, the horizontal axis (yaw, roll or player space), axis inversion and whether gyro aims all the time, only when you are scoped in, or not at all. Not sure where to start? Keep the defaults and read the gyro analysis after each run (Premium): it suggests a lower sensitivity when you overshoot and a higher one when you stop short.
The view drifts or moves on its own. What can I do?
Calibrate the gyro: open Settings › Gyro › Calibrate, lay the device flat on a table and don't touch it for two seconds.
What is free and what is in GyroDrill Premium?
Gridshot, Tracking and Precision, with results and personal bests, are free, and so are all the settings. GyroDrill Premium adds the Recoil control and Scoped drills, the gyro analysis with a tip after every run, the daily program with its streak, and progress trends for every drill.
How much does GyroDrill Premium cost?

How do I cancel GyroDrill Premium?
In the app: Settings › Premium › Manage. Or open the Google Play Store app, tap your profile picture › Payments & subscriptions › Subscriptions › GyroDrill. Cancel at least 24 hours before the current period or the free trial ends. You keep Premium until the end of the period you paid for.
I bought Premium but the app doesn't show it.
Tap Restore purchases on the Premium screen, or Settings › Premium › Restore. Premium is tied to the Google account you bought it with.
Does GyroDrill collect my data?
No. Google Play's data safety section says “No data collected”. There is no account, no ads and no analytics. Your settings and scores are stored only on your device, and deleting the app deletes them. The gyroscope is read in real time to move the view and is never stored or sent.
